DayFive was born out of genuine frustration. Our founders have spent decades working across audit, accounting, executive leadership, and board-level roles, spanning the UK, South Africa, and Europe. Time and again, they watched the same problems play out: finance teams buried in manual processes, business leaders locked out of their own numbers, and endless variations of tools that felt like they were designed for a different era entirely, while also requiring a small army to manage and join together. Ultimately you just give up and resort to Excel because it does what you need, but then you eventually inherit someone else's spreadsheet mess. And the cycle continues...
